The pinch closure is marked R.F.S. & Co on the inside. I think it is gold filled or gold plated although it is not marked as such. This company was known for its gold filled or plated jewelry and watch fobs. The piece weighs 55 grams.  The triple chain measures 14-1/2" long and the mesh fob measures 5” long with an end piece that is engraved “RGL” All the slides and end pieces are beautifully engraved and the piece is in very good condition.
