Description
This watch, chain and fob is from a family member's estate.  The number on the watch is 3717902. From information I found on the net about this watch: Search Results For "3717902" Serial Number SN Range Quanty Name Year grade size code jewels Adj/reg/etc. -------------- -------- ------ ---- ---- ----- ---- ------ ------ ------------ 3717902 3717001 1000 1889 92* 16s h3g3l 11j grade total runs first yr last yr class size code jewels Adj/name ----- ----- ----- -------- ------- ----- ---- ------ ------ ---------- 92 150000 51 1881 1895 26 16s h3g3l 11j (*) notes on grade 92: # Elgin MCs say a few were 14s Class 26: 16s HC 3/4 lever model 3 92 150000 made 11j gilded Elgin MCs say a few were 14s The watch is presently working but I do not know if it keeps accurate time.  I find no damage other than the need of a watch crystal.  There is an ornate scroll border on the outer edges, front and back.  One side depicts homes within a partial wreath; the other side has the same wreath design but is blank in the center - as though it needs to have initials engraved. The chain looks to be rose gold and I believe you can determine its color in the photos.  It measures 10" end to end and is in superb condition.  The locket fob, which I believe to be gold, contains the picture of a young woman.  The case is engraved with initials on the back.  The front contains 5 dark purple amethyst stones in gypsy settings.  One of the stones is missing; I have no reason to believe they are no genuine.  The center stone looks to have been replaced with an "opal-looking" stone - the back of it is flat whereas the amethyst stones are pointed on the backs.  I am not too familiar with this type of item but if you have questions, please be sure to email me.  Hopefully the pictures will show the true beauty of these pieces.  Buyer pays $5 US shipping plus insurance.  Foreign shoppers please contact me prior to bidding re: shipping costs, etc. Sold as is, as found - I have described the items to the best of my ability.
