It is 2 5/8" across the case and stem and the case is nearly 2" in diameter. Beautiful scroll work on the back with a pad that could be engraved after purchase, if wished. This watch has a functioning "SUN & MOON" feature and the colored dial rotates, as it follows daylight and nighttime. It is a Swiss Made watch with a quartz movement and in perfect working order. It has a gold case but since I am unsure of the actual content, I will describe it as "Gold-toned". I have not taken the back off to inspect the gold content. It was received from a relative's estate but never used. It is very thin, about 1/4" to 5/16" thick. Perfect for carrying in a pocket and would make a great Christmas gift. Thank you for looking.
