This lot contains a ladies lapel watch movement, 13 Ligne, 29.5mm, No. 12274, nickel bridges, jeweled to the center wheel, hunting movement, stem wind and set. The movement is signed, “Galt & Bro. Washington, D.C.”. The movement has a broken stem, but stem is broken at the end of the thread, leaving a good sample for easy replacement. The movement has a friction fit, enamel dial with Railroad line minutes, red 5 minutes numerals and black Arabic numerals. The hands do not match for color. This is a high-grade movement, it came from an old timers’ movement cabinet. This will be sold for the value of the vast source of parts it contains. Just the use of a single part from this watch can save a future repair. This is also a good watch for the up and coming watch repair person to practice on and hone their repairing skill.
