It also states 17 jewels.  Although the time line seems off for a watch that would have beloned to my husband's grandfather, a fellow helpful ebayer watch expert informs me the time frame for this watch would be somwhere between 1923 and 1931. Sorry for the misinformation...it was certainly unintended....just simple ignorance. We do not know much about this item other than it is my husband's grandfather's watch, but will attempt to answer what we can.  If you desire more photos, please let me know.  It is in mint condition for its age according to a local buyer/collector of railroad memorabilia.
