Good luck bidding   This is a very clean example of a silver Half Hunter verge.   The watch is wholly original   The watch has clear English silver hallmarks for London 1811   The watch has been cleaned and serviced and is running the full length of its chain and keeping good time   Movement – the gilt full plate movement has a finely pierced cock decorated with swirls. The movement is signed “Robt Howlett, Norwich, No 7181” and is in very clean crisp condition   Case – the movement comes in a silver Half hunter case, which has a hinged front cover and the movement swings out and is wound from the front. The front cover pops open crisply when you press the button on the stem in. The case has an aperture on the front cover, which has retains the glass. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is finished with an elegant stem and bow. The case is in 90% mint condition – some signs of wear but overall a top quality case in good clean condition.   Dial – the white enamel dial has two sets of numbers, the inner track is smaller so that the time can be viewed through the small aperture on the front cover. The has a winding hole with a gilt border, which prevents chips and flakes which is common on a dial with a winding hole. The dial has correct half hunter hands.
