I recently paid $1000 for the dial alone! 18 size 17 jewel lever set Rockford railroad grade pocket watch. Serial number 633608 which dates this watch to 1904. The movement is running. The two tone damaskeening is bright & fresh and not washed out. A minimum of jeweler's marks. And now for the dial. Double sunk porcelain fancy dial in mint condition without hairlines. Marked C M BEAN, IRONWOOD, MICH. on the dial. Blue, red and green jewels with multi color hues adorn this amazing dial. Without question, the finest I have ever seen on a Rockford movement. The movement is housed in a mint, 20 year Philadelphia screw back railroad case. No initials, dings or major blemishes. Virtually no wear. New old stock beveled glass crystal.
