Hampden Gold Filled, Railroad Face, 15J Pocket Watch Start Price USD 72.00 Current Price USD 72.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, August 26, 2008 End Time Tuesday, September 02, 2008 Location Bellevue, WA See more about 'Hampden Gold Filled, Railroad Face, 15J Pocket Watch' Description This 15 jewel Hampden No. 109 antique pocket watch measures 1-7/8" round and weighs a hefty 3.6 ounces.  The glass crystal has many tiny surface scratches that can be seen with a loupe, otherwise very much in tact ... not chips or major cracks.  The bezel on the crystal is a thick 1/8" as I measured it on a 45 degree angle from the face.  Text on the inside back cover reads: "10K DUEBER GOLD FILLED".  Text on the movement reads: " 15 JEWELS, SAFETY PINION, 359355 a trademark symbol reading "H W Co", plus the word: "CANTON,O.".  A number "No. 109" is most likely the model number of this timepiece.  The balance wheel and hairspring are in place with no other movement parts missing.  I can rotate the balance wheel back and forth with gentle prodding with my jewelers tool.  The crown, pulled out one stop allows the time to be set, but the mainspring needs to be fixed, as I cannot wind the watch.
