The conventional Memovox wrist watch is a desirable piece, this pendant watch is a much rarer piece. It is in very good condition and is working well. The stainless steel case has a black painted surround. There are some marks on the black paint. It is in very good condition. It measures 37mm wide, 45mm high to the tip of the pendant and 10mm. The rear cover is marked with the case serial number 700087 and is signed internally with the Jaeger Le Coultre details. The synthetic watch glass is clear and unmarked. The watch has previously been used as a nurses watch and has a solid silver clip that could be fitted to hang the watch upside down. The satin silver dial is very clean it is signed ‘Jaeger Le Coultre’. Close examination with an eyeglass reveals some light marks on the dial but these are not apparent to the naked eye. The 17 jewelled, calibre P814, alarm movement is clean and working well. It is signed Jaeger Le Coultre and carries the serial number 1210558. It is wound and set by the JL signed crown. The alarm feature is also wound and set by a separate JL signed crown. This rare watch would be a fine addition to any collection as well as having a good practical use. Any dark patches or marks on the highly polished surfaces are almost certainly reflections of my camera.
