The dial is in very good condition, with no hairlines or cracks, and is an authentic painted dial, original to this watch. It shows a house by a river with a man on horseback crossing a bridge, with trees and hills in the background. The movement is signed Nieveton, London and is a continental made verge movement - again original and in working order. The silver case, pendant and bow are in good original condition, the case has a number of small dents. This was originally a pair case watch, but the outer case is missing.
