Offering today is a Vigor vintage dial micrometer. The enclosed directions explain it best. The micrometer was designed to handle any measuring problems a watchmaker can have. A flick of the finger and you can gauge the finest pivot of any staff, any stem, pinion, jewel, wheel, etc. The adjustable platform makes delicate gauging easy, just raise the platform to your anvil, rest the part on it and you are ready to gauge without the fear of dropping the part. And mainsprings--just insert the unknown spring-- instantly you have the measurements in both Metric and Dennison--the necessary information at one reading. And etc--. This micrometer is heavy, it weighs almost 3 lbs., and is 5 1/2" long and 2 1/2" tall. This used vintage tool looks to be in excellent condition with the original box and enclosed directions.
