BRAND English made verge quarter repeater 1790.s STYLE Small pocket watch CASE SIZE Diameter 39mm . 18mm thick with glass and 10mm thick without the glass. 58mm height.   CASE METAL Beautifully designed  18k yellow gold  (acid tested ) quality made case .” see pictures” no dents no scratches next to mint condition. MODEL Quarter repeater. MOVEMENT Verge fusse quarter repeater mechanism working good time kipping is ok, and repeater function working very good and very strong.  The sound of the repeater function is not clean it sound  like  for example you put your hand on the bell and it gives you that dum sound .  Must be adjusted so the watch will sound like a song.   DIAL/ HANDS Next to mint condition original porcelain dial with roman numerals and gold tone hour hands. CRYSTAL Original and rare very thick dome crystal with flat surface in the middle called “bull eye”. FUNCTION Time, key wind and key set via dial, key included, quarter minute repeater function.  . In order to activate the repeater function you must press in the button all the way in and then let it go and sound will follow. CONDITION Overall condition of this nice verge quarter repeater 18k solid yellow gold pocket watch in scale from 1 to 10 is 9.5.  Extremely good condition for watch this old. 1790.s INCLUDED 18 gold quarter repeater pocket watch and winding key as pictured with protective pouch.
