Description
I purchased this Reuge watch new and have enjoyed owning it for 10 years. Now it's time to pass that enjoyment on. The watch has been displayed, wound, played but never worn. There are a few light scratches around the music movement's winding arbor but overall the watch is in excellent condition. Below is the description of the watch as made by another as I couldn't describe it any better. This watch does NOT have the erotic automata on the back as some models do. I do not know which tune the watch plays. This is an EXQUISITE MUSICAL POCKET WATCH by REUGE MUSIC. The LADY Pumps the Water, the Water Flows; the Horseman Raises and Lowers his Hand in which he holds a Bird; the Horse Lowers his Head to Drink in the Fountain. Dial reads: REUGE/ 17 JEWELS. The Interior Back Case reads: SWISS/ BASE METAL/ GOLD PLATED G 10 MICRONS; the Cover of the Movements reads: Reuge/ a Sainte Croix/ 6786/ Press. This Watch has an Alarm with Music... the Music and Alarm can be Activated at any time with or without the Alarm Set. The Musical and Automation Movements are wound at the Back with the Lyre Shaped Key. The Watch Movement is Wound by means of the Crown. The Music and Automated Scenes may also be activated by pressing the Button on the Back. This WATCH is in EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER and has been Handled Carefully. The watch comes in a suede covered fitted box that measures 5" by 5". US buyers only. Insurance will be mandatory for shipping and will be calculated at the end of the auction.
