Their intention was to manufacture timepieces based on the best Swiss watch-making traditions - but with consideration of the future. The Roger Dubuis Horloger Genevois has been awarded the honor of carrying the famous coat of arms of the City of Geneva. This confirms a watchmaker's observance of the firm requirements established in the 17th century; the mechanical movements of the watches have been built in the Canton of Geneva while preserving important technological principles and standards. The sizes and shapes of the first products by Dubuis won a great acknowledgment among watch collectors; the company developed their own calibers, the RD28 and RD98 mechanical movements. Each and every Roger Dubuis watch is manufactured in a handmade, unique issue.
