There are no scratches on the wood.  The only thing I see wrong is a small  area by the drawer the laquer is not as smooth as the rest.  I noticed this when I got it and found it to be typical of the style and this was pick out as the best.  I got it at Sharper Image for $299.00.  Its a beautiful piece any man would love.  What a great Christmas gift!   Place a Bid!
