FANCY HUNTER CASE   This impressive silver, oversized 22 size, triple hinged hunter case pocket watch features superb quality engraved scenes on both case covers.  The front cover engraved scene features a magnificant maned horse and horseman centered in a detailed landscape setting against a finely engraved parallel striped sky, all encircled with a fancy scroll, swirl and floral decorative border.  The back cover features a scenic Swiss alpine village, Alps in the background, engraved parallel striped sky, and matching decorative border.  All case cover serial numbers match.  Underside of all covers have a plain, shiny finish, are engraved "22506" and covers open to proper 90 degree angle.  No case monograms or personal inscriptions. 22 size case weighs approximately 131.6 grams including works, crystal, all parts. Case has a 58.8mm diameter, excluding stem and bow. Case frame/rim displays coin-edge design circumference. Shows few small case impressions, barely noticeable, even in the detailed photos. Front case cover hinged at 9:00 o'clock position.  Press-down crown release springs cover open (with little assistence).  Pry-open snap-shut back case cover hinged at 7:00 o'clock position.  Jewelers marks indicate this fine antique time piece has been professionally serviced and maintained. Inner cuvette protective dust cover hinged at 7:00 o'clock position, shows normal wear for its age.  Cuvette provides normal key hole openings for access to the key wind key set movement.  Front of cuvette is crisply engraved, "Cooper & Co   London   PATENT LEVER   15 Jewels".  Cooper is the London jeweler who sold the watch into the English market. Original excellent condition silver pry-off snap-on bezel houses original smooth polished curved glass crystal.  Circular bow is firm, no loose play. ORIGINAL SWISS MOVEMENT   An  extra large 22S (size), key wind key set (wound through cuvette).  L'Epine patent bar bridge, 15 jewel movement displays original frosted patina finish.  Patent lever escapement.  Movement winds and sets properly, appropriate winding key included.  Smooth running, professionally serviced, cleaned, lubricated and timed. ORIGINAL DOUBLE DIAL   Original rare white enamel special double dial signed in red lettering beneath 12:00 o'clock position, "PERRET & MULLER   GENEVA", the prime watch maker's firm. Double dial functionality is unknown.  Larger dial displays black Roman numeral hour chapters, black outer tracking with black diamond-shaped markers at 12, 3, 6 and 9:00 o'clock hour positions.  Smaller center dial displays black Arabic numeral hour chapters, black outer tracking with black circle dots at hour chapters.  Auxillary seconds dial, located above 6:00 o'clock position, displays black tracking with black Arabic numerals at 15, 30 and 45 second positions.  This antique  150 year old white enamel dial is factory bright.  Please reference photo enlargements for one faint hairline extending along part of right side of dial.  Fancy gold tone Fleur de Lis two-style hour and minute hands.
