This watch was made around 1902 or 1903 based on the serial number.  The watch has Thomas Russell and Son -- London engraved on it.  The serial number of the case is 9966.   One face on the inside of the watch as 16801W  and what looks like L L LL I engraved by hand inside Hunter's case as well as 160 x 34 HB 28/5/15 -- with something that looks like a 6 after it.  The last set of numbers are written in cursive and both sets of numbers/letters are difficult to read even with a jewelers loop. Finally it has the initial H engraved and underlined and under this the numbers 960  and what looks like 11 to the right of that.  This is also small enough that a jeweler's loop must be used to read this.  The hands on this watch are a cobalt blue color as is the miniature second hand.   The watch face has Omega stamped on it but during this period Thomas Russell and Son used watch parts from other companies like Omega.   It runs for short periods when wound.  Thanks Place a Bid!
