Good luck bidding    This is a Purse watch which was probably made in Switzerland but was retailed in Germany (signed on the case and dial)   This is a really stunning silver and enamel purse watch with an amazing dial. I have not seen this variation before and   The watch case is marked Sterling.   The watch is in good working order but has not been cleaned or serviced and so is sold “as is”.   Movement – the ¾ plate lever movement is signed “Welta Watch Co, Swiss, 15 Jewels” and is in 90% mint condition – a nice clean example.   Case – the movement comes in a square piece of silver which has a snap on back and front. This then slides into an outer case. The inner in the out position, then folds backwards and becomes a travel watch. The case is decorated on both side with typical 1930 patterns of blue enamel stripes and engine turning. The case is signed “Sterling, 61655, Germany, Patent No. 1651804   The case is in 80% mint condition – overall very clean but there are traces of enamel missing here and there and general wear and tear.   Dial – the silvered dial has a stunning square blue enamel border with gold numbers.
