Description
This auction is for a vintage authentic "Your Rolex Oyster" booklet printed between1967-1968 (based on the serial nos. by date of manufacture) in the English language. It is in good condition that shows signs of even aging with a staple mark on the upper left corner from the front up to the back cover. It measures about 4.25" X 3.25" containing 20 pages of valuable information regarding the oyster "twinlock" winding crown, oyster perpetual, birth of the "Datejust" and "Day-Date", world's first wrist-chronometer in 1910, Rolex red seal and Rolex landmarks of achievement from 1910-1968. It also contains service instructions and information on how to care for your Rolex oyster, hand-setting, winding, the Rolex "Auto-Lock", the Rolex clasp, cleaning and re-oiling your Rolex watch and Rolex at your service around the world. It also shows pictures of the main service center, the exclusive Rolex perpetual rotor mechanism, Rolex red seal, Prof. Piccard's bathyscaph, Sir John Hunt at Mount Everest and the Rolex world headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. MOST IMPORTANTLY, it still has the totally blank, open guarantee pages perforated with model no. 1603 and serial no. 211XXXX and the two pages for carbon copies meant to be retained by the jeweller and the customer. This rare and highly sought booklet would be a great addition to your collection. Please look and study the pictures. Payment expected within 5 days.
