Hamilton pocket watch is 17 jewels and is 16 size (model 974). The white porcelain dial shows black Arabic hour markers, with sub second dial having small Arabics in ten second intervals. The blued steel whip style  minute hand and spade style hour hand as well as second hand are in excellent condition. The thick glass bevelded crystal does show some scratches, otherwise in good condition. This Hamilton 974 is pendant wind and set which works properly, crown in like new condition. Serial number 1674068 dates this pocket watch to 1919. The demaskeened movement is signed in gold lettering: HAMILTON WATCH Co. LANCASTER, PA. 17 JEWELS 974 ADJUSTED MADE IN U.S.A. Movement is housed in very nice double hinged gold filled case that reads: KEYSTONE WATCH CASE 6192384, inside dust cover reads: GUARANTEED J. BOSS 20 YEARS 6192384. Case covers close properly and tight. Thick case shows a rib design around the main body of the case, hinges are in solid excellent condition, although hinge insert tips missing. The back cover shows some light brassing, the center has an unused shield. The back cover shows a minor dent along the edge (hard to see), bow is firm. Overall a nice looking pocket watch that runs great, in a very nice case even with the issues mentioned. Buyer to pay $ 10.00 for priority shipping and insurance.
