VINTAGE WESTCLOX SCOTTY POCKETWATCH WORKING CONDITION Start Price USD 9.99 Current Price USD 9.99 Time Left - Bid Count 1 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, December 01, 2008 End Time Monday, December 08, 2008 Location Mankato, Minnesota See more about 'VINTAGE WESTCLOX SCOTTY POCKETWATCH WORKING CONDITION' Description This auction is for the vintage Westclox pocketwatch shown,a "Scotty" model.This appears to be a "plain Jane" sort of watch,with no marked movement or jewels,and measures about 2" across case,1 and 1/2" across face,so appears to be a 10 or 12 size.I do not know the year of production for this model,the Scotty was produced for several years and with a variety of designs.It does run and keeps time when wound and set.Pendant crown moves easily and appropriately.The only numbers on the works are a 12 and a 5,there does not seem to be any longer serial number as such.There are no markings on the inside of the back cover,so would guess the case is made of base metal.The dial appears to be metal,hands are intact.The back and front pry off,this is not a screw-on bezel or hinged case.This has had some use and shows a little wear,but appears to be in good condition.The back shows some "pocket rubs",face cover shows a few light scratches and rubs.There are no dents or rust,photos are fairly accurate to colors of the metal.Not a fancy model,but a sturdy older pocket watch for collections,use or parts!I will e-mail you with totals shortly after auction,and will send an invoice through eBay.
