This beautiful original gold hunter’s case is finished with engine turnings on both sides, a small uninitialed crest on the back cover and scroll patterns which are engraved on the upper areas. The porcelain dial is signed “American Watch Co.” and is finished with Roman chapters and blue spade pointers. The rare ¾ plate movement is signed “Foggs Safety Pinion Patent 1865” near the center wheel. The movement is signed “Appleton Tracy & Co. Waltham Mass.” It features fifteen ruby jewels and a beautiful gilt finish. The bi-metallic balance wheel is set with rose-gold timing screws. CAT124-24 This item is offered to you by Richard E.
