Description
Stunning and rare 1899 Waltham solid 14K yellow gold and enamel repousse pocket/pendant watch in near mint original condition. Phenomenal solid 14K gold repousse case with amazing floral relief with engraved background that continues on to the bezel. Original fancy solid gold bow and crown. The dial is one of the nicest we have ever seen. Made of solid gold, the dial is exquisitely hand-engraved with a floral motif. Blue enamel Arabic numerals and minute chapter. Original blue steel spade hands. Perfect crystal. The case is in as close to mint condition as one could hope for. Tight hinges and tight bow. High grade rare "Ruby" signed Waltham movement is in excellent running condition and keeping good time. This antique Art Nouveau open face pocket/pendant watch crafted in 14K gold weighs 28.7 grams and has a circumference of 30mm (about the size of a quarter). Beautiful hand engraved dust cover. This watch is an absolute treasure.
