R. Standard gold trademark. A gold center wheel and gold jewel settings are features of this ultra high-grade timepiece. The double hinged back case is engraved with a presentation inscription “From the Whitney Carriage Co.” on the inner cuvette. The outer rim of the case is reeded and the back is beautifully engine turned around an uninitialed crest.
