I bought this pendant more as a curiosity than anything else because the goldtone case is quite worn.  I thought it would appeal to both the cameo collector and the watch collector who search for the unusual.  The design of the woman on the cameo circa dates this most likely to the 1950s or later.  While the wind-up mechanism dates this to pre-battery.  Interesting. Both the watch and the cameo are in very good condition.  The watch keeps time well and the cameo has no chips or cracks.  The watch face is plastic and has light scratching.  The watch is on a spring so that the pendant can be opened in order to get to the back of the watch when in need of repair.  But I like to think that you can keep a small treasure in that space, as well. The watch is signed "Lucerne" and "Swiss Made."  I found another Lucerne watch pendant with a phenol plastic cameo dated to the 1950s which helps circa date this piece.  It was online and already sold so I cannot tell you the cost.  There are several more Lucerne cameo pendant watches online if you care to search.  None are quite like this one.  This cameo pendant measures 1&1/4"x1".  It does not have its chain.
