This American Waltham 14k yellow case,green leaves and rose gold flowers pocket watch contains a 15 jewel movement. The front scene depicts a swallow bird flying in a window with flowers and a diamond star in the center. The engraving is so extraordinary that you can actually see the wood grain on the window frame.The reverse is a shield ready for a monogram surrounded by festoons of forget-me-not flowers and feathers.The detail is superb and even the edges and the loop are completely engraved. The hands are an elegant ornate gold as well. It weighs approximately 24 pennyweight and measures approximately 2 inches high including the top loop and just shy of 1 1/2 inches across. It is in beautiful physical condition and is in good running order. It is a stem wind and set.
