I have been to many different watch dealers and they all say it was made around the 1800's. I also believe it is Swiss made but I am not sure. The movement is in excellent condition and the watch keeps great time. also there are numbers on the inside of the case that means the watch was serviced in 1924. the watch also on the edge of the front and back case, the beading which was part of the design, very nice and in great shape (see pics for design), There are also 3 initials on the back.  in order to set the watch, you have to stick your fingernail into a little button to set, which is an indicator of how old it is. Along with the beautiful watch, comes a sterling silver watchband that goes with the pocket watch and turns it into a wristwatch! the watch fob was attached to the watch as I believe it to be original but am not sure. the wrist band is newer than the watch as it says on it duo patd june 23-14, as seen from the pics, the sterling holder  fits the watch perfectly, the links can also be removed to adjust the size, the links are also spring loaded and adjust with your wrist. everything works and in excellent condition, a truly rare and beautiful watch and very old. shipping notice: WINNING BIDDER IS ONLY REQUIRED TO PAY INSURANCE INSIDE THE U.S , ANY WHERE OUTSIDE THE U.S PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT SHIPPING.
